The wedding blog

So, I've decided to start a wedding blog as a way to track ideas and share them with others.

We have a ways to go on the planning end, since we just got engaged week ago and the wedding is not until May 2009, but I like to get things started and I've already started collecting ideas.

Right now, I'm all about sage green with an accent of some shade of purple. I've always loved green and purple paired together. The green definitely lends itself to Matt's Irish heritage, which I really want to incorporate in some way.

Matt really wants the reception to be at the Mecan River lodge, but we don't know if we will fit. In fact, we don't even know how many people we want to invite. I guess that is step 1!
